Post trunk not opening from inside

When i purchased my supra the trunk opener thing from inside did not work (i pull the lever and the trunk did not pop open). something is wrong with the cable. i investigated and could not fix it. probably need a new cable or something. could someone tell me how (or where) to get this repaired, or if you know what to do to fix it.

thanks
