I'm a GM tech in georgia and owner of a 87 turbo supra which right now is in need of an engine, so the question arises. I've been having a war in my head about this since I want to keep it real with my supra. on the other hand my buddys at the dealership where I work at keep insisting that i stuff an LT1 in my supra and that sure it'l be a lot of work but the end result will be satisfying..
Im sure I can get a wrecked camaro Z28 or a firebird for about 1500 bucks. I know it'll be a lot of work but it can be done, the only concern at this moment is,do I have enough room? anyways it sounds very interesting.I,m sure doing a swap for a 2jz or 1jz at the end will cost me around $2500 which will be around the same cost for the LT1 . what do ya guys think? let me know guys, I cant sleep....... |
