What exactly does it do?

What are the diffrent kinds of blow off valves ?
I heared there is piston and some other kind, what is the diffrence between them ? |
Ok i think i get how it works and where it goes so good good but then i read soemthing about the ECU expecting more air and not getting it and pumping to much fuel in ?
so would my supra have that problem and if so what would i do about it ? |
I have heard of people having issues with venting it to the atmosphere, if that is the case you can get an hks ssqv and the adapter to route the air back into the accordian hose like stock (steath mode). I personally don't have any problems venting it to the atmosphere on mine. Maybe and occasional "pop" from the muffler..

i'm in the same boat as joel
i dump to the atmosphere , i supposed if i was going to blow the coin again on a BOV i would go with one that doesn't dump and re-circulates |
why would you chose to re-circulate instead of dump ?
