Guidance!
Hello gents
I recently bought an 86 supra. I'm a big enthusiast, though I do not know a whole lot. I have a close friend that works as a mechanic at a porsche dealership that would work with me so i can get the feel for my car. This 86 supra has a motor and tranny swapped from a 1990 supra, with 34k to their name. I was wondering what things should i look at and do to my car as soon as it arrives next week. What are some reltively easy performance upgrades i.e.boltons/whater that would be in my best interest to do right off the bat. I want to get the most out of my motor without putting it through any level of stress or danger for lack of a part or what not. What are some things that a supra as old as mine would potentilly be needing of replacement or attention? Thanks! Eddie |

Replace all the hoses, belts, coolant, oil, P/S fluid, tranny fluid, diff oil, radiator cap, thermostat, air filter, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor.
Probably the valve cover gaskets, cam seals, and check the timing belt. Test the charging system and battery, lights, etc.
