The braking on my '88 is getting slowly worse, having to push the pedal down further & harder, and its beginning to start squealing, which i guess is my baby's way of telling me that the discs/pads need changing.
I've just bid on a pair of brake discs on ebay (?12!!!) - but they're from the turbo - are there any differences between the N/A & Turbo models in regards to braking system? (I have ABS) Also, the discs are used, less than 500 miles worth of use, and they look like Toyota direct replacement jobbies (all i want for the moment is as much safety as i can afford!). Was going to use OEM or Bendix pads on them, but any recommendations for EBC greenstuffs? I bought an all round set for my Ford Sierra XR4x4 previously, but the engine on the car died about 100 miles after fitting the brakes, so never got a chance to test them :/ Cheers and TIA
