I have an 87 supra with an after market sunroof. the fuse blewout and cant seem to find it. i tore part of the liner down where the motor is and traced the wires down to the driver side kick panel but after that can see the wires any more. Ive seen other supras with the same sunroof( thought the motor was bad at first so i took one off at a junk yard that still worked) does any one know where they are.its summer time soon and id love to get it working also if i cant find it is there any way to rewire it so it does work.
thanks |

hmm i'm not sure where the fuse is for the sunroof as 86-89 sunroofs were installed at the dealer... i'll have a chat to some friends of mine bout it for ya... i think the motor for the sunroof is located in the roof lining... not positive tho

well....sometime its not the fuse that cause the sunroofs tho...it can be a relay...to it..i not sure bout the mk3 but on the mk2 relay is on the back pssnger seat that were on the side of the panel tho....i have 2friends that having the same problem too...but one of my friend we rewired the + to the sunroof motor from the door switch... the other friend he rewired the + from any wired that when you turn the key ing. on and it have power......so yeah....n he rewired that + to the motor....from his mk2 n it work....if you cant find the relay or the fuse or the problem to that...i think rewired all the wired are expensice tho...i think you sure try to do what my friend does...it save you a buck or two....cause u can do it urself for less expensive...
