true but you know not everyone can say that they drive a supra but then again it is kinda cool to say your car doesn't have a single piston i just want to know if there are any drawbacks to a supra vs the drawbacks of a RX

does that have the 12a or 13b in it? i had a gen 1 rx7 with the 12a, and i have to admit, there is no comparing the two. go with the supra. the handling doesnt compare to the comfort and fun youll get with a supra. but you know.. thats just me
and my friend has a gen 3, and while hes got a lot of power due to twin turbos, its kind of uncomfortable in the car. its small, and they seem kinda cheap. mazda tried saving lots of weight so nothing seems sturdy. when you close the door you can tell its completely hollow and it rattles. and from what i understand, you can get the power out of a supre just fine pluss youll have a car you can trust...and find parts for. |
SUPRA! Just replace the headgasket with a metal one and use apr headstuds to prevent any future inconvinent blown head gasket issues. Also remember to keep an eye on that oil level!! My friend had an FC3S 13B. It was a cool car with good body lines and the rotary sounded great but it just didn't feel as good as my supra. The power levels just aren't up to par and......well rotary motors aren't known for their reliability.......my friends just completely quit on him one day with no warning. High horsepower 13B motors seem to have trouble staying together. They can be great cars but also require alot of attention. I love the long wheel base of the MK3 and aggressive old school body lines. The potential of the MK3 is VERY high, in power, looks, handling, and (if maintained right) reliability.
Either one you decide to get.....try to get one that is in very good condition and doesn't need alot of work(unless you have the time and money to fix it up) IMHO it will pay off in the long run. |
