Default Broken BOV

hello everyone, i just bought an 87 supra turbo with a factory bov stem broken off and the hose that conects to it hanging off. I was wondering if im able to drive without the hose connected. if i am should i plug the hose that came from the bov or do i need a new bov?

I would just replace the BOV. It is there to protect the turbo from compressor surge...

Well it is that small hose that makes the BOV work.. I am sure you can still drive the car but i would not "boost it" until you fix it.

I have an extra stock BPV if you want it. $10 shipped.. let me know..

let me get this right, the bov is still ok, its the stem where the bov releives and conects to the accordeon hose trhough a hose is broken? or is the stem where the bov gets its pressure signal from the intake is broken?
