Fan?
 

I was thinking about taking the clutch fan off and installing an electric fan. Has anyone done this? Seems like it would be more effective and save some hp not much of corse. Mostly to keep cool. I dont know how you would hook it up though unless you had a toggle switch. Or hook it up to run all the time. My friend has that on his car. He wired it into the ignition switch.

I just tried a failed experiment with a mustang electric fan. I bought it for about 100 dollars new with shroud, measured and cut with my spare radiator and when it came time to install it there was about 1/2 inch less room than I needed.

What about this fan? It seems like a good deal. What do you guys think?

That 10 inch fan is way too small and there isn't a big enough shroud area for it to cool the whole radiator. If you made a custom shroud and had two of those then maybe. If your worried about how to run the fan you could buy a universal Thermostatic fan control. It has a heat sensor to turn the fan on however you adjust it.
Im taking my mustang fan to the USA in less than a week and its going on my 72 K5 Blazer. The Flex-A-Lite twin fans are coming back here to go on my Supra. It gets damn hot over here so I hope it will be enough.

Get the 16" fan and buy the remote/adjustable fan relay from Hayden. You can get this part at almost any parts store. It runs directly off the battery, but you can run it to the ignition switch if you don't feel comfortable about it running after you switch the car off. I have this on my daughters Supra and it works just fine.
