Question about 7m-gte.
 

Ok i have a 91 MKiii the engine is a stock 7m-gte. Just bought couple weeks ago.
and my question is every morning i have to give it 2 cranks before starting, what do i need to change or check? spark plugs is my first guess, thought some of ya might know.

and another question is where can i find the VIN on the engine? It shows where it is in the manual but i cant seem to find it. pics?

Put HARD STARTING into the 'search' box above, and there are several theards that may have the answers for you.

My N/A block has the VIN on the side near the oil filter.

The easyiest thing would be to check the spark plugs, remember you have to use at least platnum tipped or higher and they have to be gapped at .32
