91 Turbo running 9 psi.
Two or three minutes after buying full tank of gas, engine shudders and dies while under full throttle at 4500 rpm. Engine will not restart or run without at least 1/4 throttle. Barely got it home shuddering and shaking the entire way. (two blocks) Turbo kinda spools but acts as if someone were flooring and releasing accelerator rapidly. Intercooler pipes all connected. No obvious air leaks that i could find. Spark to the back two plugs. (i haven't checked the others yet) No computer codes. fuel pump sounds normal (haven't checked pressure yet) Bad gas or coincidence? Where should i start? What cause is most likely? Should i check for hidden intake leaks with some propane? thanks |
