Default jdm

I am instaling a turbo jdm into my 87 turbo supra (american version). I am keeping the origional american wiring harness. Any way, does any one know if the cam positioning sensor is diffrent in the jdm version? Because the wires are diffrent colors on the sensor side of the plug than the harness side. The plug still fits. ???? I dont feel like plugging a red wire into A green one.
Any ideas?

I also did a jdm 7mgte, and yes just connect the connector the way it fits, I know the wire colors are different but it will work.

dsm? i dunno what it stands for but they make the talons which is the same as an eclipse...

any ways the wires and plugs depend on the year of the engine also. pre89 has a diff clips then that of the 89+. im doin the samething, 89+ engine into my 87t but my oringial wiring harness is already spliced and brittle too much for comfort so im about to buy a new one and swap out whatever clips
