boost controler lets you raise boost aka psi, all a turbo timer does it shuts off the car after idleing without a key in the ignition so i can go in ur house or whatever u need to do.

ive been looking at a lot of boost controllers today. wats better. electrical or manual. and on a lot of them they have knobs for "lo boost" and "hi boost" WATS WITH THAT? and once uve set ur boost, how do u know how high u r boosting. a new boost guage? and if so, do u have to like take the caxr out and let it boost fully to see?

You install the boost controller in line with the wastegate actuator vaccum line, run your car, see where it is (this is after you have a good/better boost gauge). Then turn it up or down as desired. It should come with instructions. You can get manual boost controllers for like...15$. Just search for them on froogle.
