Bad piston rings maybe? While the car is idling, try taking off the oil cap and see if any smoke comes out.
Also I was wondering how long did it take you to replace your HG? I was thinking about doing it but didn't know how much of a pain in the ass it is to do. Is the 2mm the size to go with if you haven't had any other previous HG problems with the car? |

Wondering too!
Yeah, I am wondering the same thing here. I want to put a 1.5mm on my 87 T, I don't think I should need anything bigger...right? I am a noob at the supra, however I want to learn everything that I can.

Did you have the block and head shaved for the mhg? Did you lap the block and head? Did you use arp bolts or studs? What did you torque it down to? Sounds like bad head gasket to me.

If your getting oil in your antifreeze its not good news...from my experience that means either that your HG replacement went bad already, or you cracked a cylinder. When doing the MHG conversion, did you have the block and head machined? when going to a metal head gasket the two surfaces need to be perfectly flat and smooth.
Either way, Im sorry to say, but I think you got major problems edit: bleh Nate beat me to it while I was typing...hehe
