How much did your 1jz cost you?
Hello, I plannig to do a 1j swap on my MkIII, I have a buddy thats done it and I help him install it, love the engine, but I was wondering how much it would be to buy the 1j and to get it running? Please levae feedback if you have a 1j

It cost me my pride. Sorry I had to. Your best bet is to get a front clip that way you don't have to search high and low for all the little stuff. I think they are around 2k plus shipping.
There is plenty of info out there though, did you try a search yet?

i recently seen a 1jz gtte for sale for 1400 us. on ebay was thinking about buying it, but... i cant do the convertion myself and dont got much help in the area

well id much rather pay 1400 for a twin turbo then 2000 + for a single? ... wouldnt you?

Of course I was going to buy a clip, just wondering how much it would cost for the clip, installation, and the price to get it running, I know you have to modify the engine mounts, does that cost much?

Who pissed in Nates Wheaties today? I DID! But he's right. Its around 3000-5000. Depending on what you are going to do yourself. Yes it is a TT but the engine code is a 1JZGTE. You dont have to modify them. You'll need an 89+ crossmember or some other place sells the mounts already made. I just cant remember the site for the life of me right now.
