3" Test Pipe
Hey, I just purchased a 3" inch test pipe for my 87 non-turbo and was wondering.. if the rest of my exhaust isn't a full 3".. will it affect the flow of the exhaust system if the test pipe is 3 inches and the rest is say.. 2.5? Thanks

it probably be still the same cuz the restrictions is still there,
you only got space on the testpipe, then after that air is still choked by the rest of the exhaust pipe the same can be said for pple that buy 3" exhaust muff's and still has stock exhaust piping but the testpipe is a good start for your car, dont forget EMISSIONS, they're somewhat tight in here where in illinois do you stay at?

shaumburg area.. but if they come for emmisions i can just put the cat back in right? and on a non-turbo dont you need some kind of backpressure for the engine to run? a full 3 inch exaust would be a bad idea someone i work with told me. what do you think?
