Hey new here, pics of my 88 Supra
 

Hiya. I had my supra for awhile now. I basically rescued it from a 40 year old guy that was basically letting it rot for over a year cuz he blew the head gasket and never fixed it. So I bought the car for $600 and now with everything the car is up to $2500 including the car's $600 and labor. Put a lower milaged motor in with like 70k on it. I did the JDM style tail light but a lil different, cuz can't copy people. Anyways shes my baby, love her to death. More than anything on this earth. I loved 4th gen Supras since 1995 but I also liked the 3rd gens. So I finally got a Supra. And I don't regret one dollar I put into it. Put the wing and exhuast on it which is basically straight pipes and hollowed out cat and bypassed resinator with a custom pipe. Anyways if you wanna know anything else just ask I'm too lazy to type anymore.

what did you do with the old motor cus i need one

The guy that swaped my motor basically recylced it for metal, and by the time I realized it I shoulda kept it and rebuilt it. Oh well.....

I knoew where theres a turbo motor without the turbo if you wanna know, it should be like mad cheap cuz every part I buy there is insanely cheap. Like 2 supra tail lights, a shadow hose and supra turn signal was $10 bucks.

just out of curiosity...how much did it cost you to do the swap +engine cost, and get the engine running?

Well the motor was $450 w/ shipping and labor was like $375 so total was $825. But I randomly give the guy $5-10 bucks cuz he deserves it.

Yes, the roof scoop has to go. It is pretty bad. But the rest of the car is pretty clean. What exhaust is it? just the stock one with the hollowed out stuff? I need a catback...But not like the 600$ hks kind. I just want a steel tube with nothing on it, So i can add my own muffler and weld the hangers on it.

I want to dissagree with that hood scoop comments. I think what it is, is all the black door trim. If you were to just make the large portion of the car white, take off the trim, and just cap over the grooves...it would work alot better.

** The grooves that I am talking about is what would be left if the trim around the car was removed. I am just saying like cap it over, weld in a metal strip over that groove, and then putty it over. Paint it, and it would look sleek**

I actually really like the wing though...it just seems to fit on the supra. I would never put one on my car though, I am keeping her stock LOOKING....hehee. I love a sleeper car!

OMG! I didn't even notice the roof scoop. That is horrible.
