I hope your planning on doing this on a reallly long and abandoned road... lol. Drivign next to someone(or almost next to, depending of how much faster the winning car is) at 100 is pretty dam scary/dangerous. I would say if your gona do that just bring him to the closest 1/4mile track. Then you get times too. But otherwise.. I think you should win. 3000gts are over rated. lol.

I did a little reading, The 3g has at least 222 hp. or 218 if its 97+. Thats a slight bit more than the 7mge. But i rode in a 95 3g, an auto, And there was no way it would beat any supra. It was slow as hell. Im not sure about the manual one thou. Just race him, and if you lose, spend a little money and race him again. If you have a radar detector, If he starts winning, slam on your brakes and turn/get in the right lane (whatever) and he will probably do the same. tell him you got some radar ;)

Yeah we are doing it on a really long road. Bad thing is one of us may be driving on the wrong side of the road there arent any 2 lanes without traffic on them and there are tons of roads that are perfectly flat and long as hell so we can tell when people are coming a long ways away. yeah im probably gonna shut down a 100 i don't know about him but if he is winning at 100mph its kinda redicoulous to go that retardedly fast for $30. Closest 1/4mile track is an hour away and it $45 entrance fee

from what i have heard the manuals run about a second faster in the 1/4 cuz the gears are too long in the automatics. the manual 3000gt's 3rd gear tops at a little over 100mph from what he said.

sry bro... but u wont win... my buddy has a 3000gt... i can beat it in my turbo supra but only by 2 1/2 maybe 3 lengths ... kinda rough they got the weight advantage and supras are kinda slow of the line... u might possibly win if he cant shift worth sht... but gl bro... i wouldnt even waiste the $30 its not worth the humiliation
