the 3000gt comes in the model you raced and the VR4 model. the VR4 models are the faster models. frostburn, the guy you know probably has a VR4

3000GT's actually come in 3 models.

Base-DOHC until the 3g then they were SOHC

SL-Model i raced

VR-4- twin turbo AWD these are the heavy ones but they are really fast.

I looked into getting a 3000gt for a while but they were too expensive and i didn't like FWD

those vr4's are crazy , i saw one dust an evolution by a good 6 lenghts

Just too many variables involved to look at 2 charts and say with any credibility what car's faster ( I don't care if you were correct, it's Mr Racer vs Mr Gifted Ameturer ). If he's such a good driver race him again in a few months time after some practice. He sounds cool tho.

I never talked trash...I was just saying just because the car has better specs and because youve raced other 3gs, doesnt neccesarily mean hell lose. So dont go telling him that. Even thou he did lose, there is a still a change. You can never be certain.

the vr4's are pretty fast. i raced one and lost(new it from the beginning). he got up to 130mph in the 1/4 mile(had a few mods done to it)

i told him he could win if the guy was a horrid driver lol i never said he had no chance... but i know 2 good drivers me and my buddy... i know the out come for

My friend has a manual with an LSD i think im gonna try to get them to race. Should be a better race and im sure the guy in the 3000gt will actually launch it this time. I think the 3000gt may still end up on top tho because i have raced both cars and they won by about the same amount and the guy in 3000gt wasn't trying that hard.
