Running too rich and too lean.
 

When I start my car the injector display on the AVCR goes insane. It jumps arounduntil you let the car wam up. While driving the car runs reallyrich and myfriends said that it shoots flames past my bumper. However at high RPMs it runs way too lean and the engine knocks. My friends say that the Apexi S-AFCII will help solve the problem but they are unsure since they have never messed with an MKIII. Would the S-AFCII work?or a diagnostic?

your afm might b messed up, check your plugs , maybe more than one is burnt
or get your car a tune up b4 you start spending on all those money on jus speculation

All I have bought for it myself is Tires. I have an Apexi Filter and I heard they dont need to be cleaned. It some duel filter or something like that. Dont see why id would be that.

thes not talking about ur air filter..hes talkin about ur mass air flow meter. its the box looking thing thats on ur airfilter pipe.

Oh Ok.I just bought the car not toolong ago and I dont know a whole lot about cars too. Im still learning.Ill put a pic of the MAFmaybe someone could see something I cant.

Get a voltmeter, visit the tsrm cygnus site, and go test it. Its not hard. Just touching wires to plugs lol.

the only thing we can probly tell you about your maf
in a picture,
is if its plugged or not

unless there's no more trap door in it or it has a dumbass hole on it
that would prbly defeat the whole purpose of the maf

Im about to sell those gay ass Excel rims and buy an Apexi S-AFC II. Im told that will help out alot.

or rims until my car breaks 10's in 1/4 mile

10s is asking a lot without doing some serious chassis work to your car lol. Like full rollcage and tubbed rear end, And having about 800hp. I would never put a body kit on my/any car, Just because most of them look plain dumb and they are all by far the most overpriced car part ive ever seen.

I bought some better rims unfortunately. The only body wotk I would do is buy that JDM lip Kit. But thats after my engine rebuild and until my poor (brokedown) baby can push out at least 350-400Hp. But I dunno. I LOVE the MKIII body.

Well, If you put it that way, Sure. It just takes a lot of time/money. A 10 sec car is like a prostock drag car, Thou, So your car will end up looking like one of them and probably being not street legal. Bu hey, Go for it. Itd be nice to see such a BA supra. I want to get my turbo to 12.5s. Should be fun! lol.

and i wont be here for that, so im jus trying to be as fast as i can

i want my car to do 10' deep or shallow i dunt care as long as i got a 10 second car
and i want to still be able to use my car to go to the store to go get condoms or something like that(jus 4 exmple i dunt use em)
