i dont understand this whole egr thing, could u explain what i do to do whatever you did? it actually makes a sound difference? im gonna put my muffler on tommorow

Well its not something you want to do, Unless your egr doesnt work. Look on top of the motor. There is a round thing at the back of the intake manifold with some vaccum lines. Thats the egr modulator. Im not sure how you test it, But i know mine wasnt working because of my emissions numbers. It makes a sound difference cause its pumping exhaust back into the motor, so it puts and spits some. I just did it to see if my egr passages were clear, But it seemed to make the car run a little better, Which means mine probably wasnt working before hand.

hmm.. why wouldnt i want to take it off if its working? i have no emissions law here yet
