I don't know if this will help but I had some communications with this guy, his name is Matt Junker Phone 909-229-7701 location LA. Very knowledgeable and helpful chap, he had a recondition 7M-GTE engine available a few weeks ago before I decided to rebuild my own engine.

www.osakajdmmotors.com i bought my engine from there. runs great and cost 700 and shipping is either 200 or 300 but could depend on where you live. they are in canada. my engine took a little longer than expected for shipping due to customs but got here and everything was fine.

how long have you had your engine (in the car running)? does the engine look like it was treated well? i am curious because these engines seem like a good deal to me and are cheap too. anything we should know when ordering? do's dont's?

edit
just noticed they labeled the 1jz and 2jz engines as GTTE's...
