whats the best HG's i can buy
well i've heard people use a 2mm metal head gasket and i was wonder if thats the best set up for a 89 7mgte or can i go bigger and get the same resaults buh if not how much does it cost to resurface and to have the metal gasket put back in

you can try looking at those greddy 3mm metal head gaskets
jus my opinion tho, i've seen greddy products in action and i tend to lean towrds them

The thickness of the gasket should be determined by how much you shave off the head and block. If you don't want to machine the head and block then stick with a stock HG. FWIW I have an HKS 2mm
