Air Conditioner????
I did my head gasket on my 88 non-turbo and my ac worked before it was just blowing out not so cold air, in other words it was alright. When i put everything back together it doesn't work the ac compressor is not kickin in, i know this because when the car is on and i turn it on there is no power surge and there is no cold air duhhhh. Does anybody know what this could be? Could the ac compressor die like that instantly?

You may have not hooked the power back up, or a ground wire. have a friend that knows about a/c to help you. These cars are about the same as all of the 80's & 90's.
You friend may want to see the TSRM on a/c wiring, so go ahead and look it up here. http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/

Where are the power wires located? I see a ground wire on top.

Ground on top?
The wire on top is the power wire, the clutch uses case ground for the ground.
