This the work I had done plus new valve and cam seals, and yes I thought it was necessary. Note the price is in ? GBP.not $ US. Probably not so expensive in the States.

Just a minute that’s $740.634 US Dollars, but like you said if you are keeping the car and have gone to all trouble of removing the head its worth having it checked out. Just out of interest how many miles/km has the average MK III Supra done in the US.?

REPLACE YOUR EXHAUST VALVE GUIDES! I had my head, milled, tripple ground valves, Valve shim adjusment, pressure tested, acid bathed, and had the exhaust valve guides replaced, you can do intake too but usually they don't need it, the exhaust definitely though.

I really hate online conversion charts guess they are not that accurate. Thats still ok because like I said I plan on keeping that car. Its too much fun to just let go like that. I really wasnt looking at price checks because they vary from place to place, this thread is mostly so I know what services the machine shop offer. Any thing else they can do or does that cover most of it.
