getting an 87 turbo w/5spd tranny on monday for $250.00 only thing is, its got a blown head gasket and interior is kinda messed up. figure i might as well go ahead and rebuild the motor adn change the gaskets adn seals while im at it. the car has been sitting for 4 years, but it had a rebuilt turbo motor put in it 6 years ago, but bhg now. its also targa. do yall think this is a decent price for the car

yeah if you got the entire car $250.00. You figure you put in 2000.00 it would probably turn out pretty nice.

I bought an 87 NA for $500, got to drive it for 2 1/2 hours and the motor locked up. I knew the engine knocked when i bought it so i wasnt to dissapointed. Rebuilt a junkyard engine, and now im working on fixing the rust. You can definitely get these cars for cheap, put some money into then and have a really solid car. Bought a second 87 (Turbo this time) lots of mods but engine acces were in a bucket, wire harness was in pass seat spot, brought seat home in truck. So unfortunately this is a parts car, and i have to kill it.
