Search around. The 7mgte has lower compression (necessary for boost) and oil squirters that cool and lube the rods and pistons. It is possible to get these machined into a ge block, But ive never seen it done, Just read about it. Otherwise, There is 2 knock sensors in the turbo block. I dont know how you would hook the turbo ecu up to one without it working right. You can run a turbo on an n/a computer and all, But I think you would need some kind of fuel computer to keep it fueled right and to run bigger injectors. If you can find a way to get the throttle body in front of the turbo, Youd be fine, It would run as factory.
