Chicagoland Mk3 Owners!!
 

hey, this is for anyone who lives in the chicagoland area and owns a mk3. I rarely ever see any other supras on the road and want to do somethin.. maybe rent a track for a weekend or maybe cruise up to one of the largest cruise nights in illinois.. up in crystal lake. I'm looking for something soon since the nice weather is ending but maybe late september, early october. just start posting ideas on this thread.. we'll see what happens.

alright.. fridays and saturdays? i just have to fix my car which will hopefully get done today but that'd be sweet. where are they at down there

there are dozens of spots all over the city

but its those places that you will never find if u dunt know

its one of those things, that only the people that know where it is are the only people that will find it

unless you get lucky that you get there when everybody is breaking, and then you get to follow to the next spot

but im going this saturday, my boy is gonna try out his s15,
im gonna b rolling with him and showing him the places, if yall wanna come jus holla at me,

we need more mk3's here, there's only two of us that were regular at the races

and now my car is down, he's the only one left

, and to tone loc:
i drove without my license for a year ,, lol
jus a matter of knowing what pigs are looking for and not doing it lol

alright, i dont think im doing anything this weekend. but give me your number or some place i should meet you at and what time.

ya but i can barly drive let alone race or even just cruise. I have about 3 hours of driving time.(no joke literally 3 hours)

do you know where franklin park is?
it'll be about , i think 30 minutes away from crystal lake

my place is by manhiem and fullerton
but im gonna tell my boy to come to my house around 10
and we'll leave at 10:30

by 11 the races start, and we'll probly follow the races until 1 and then
the plan is were going to saint charles to catch sum drifting action

so basically we're going to two scenes
but the drifting one , im not familiar in that area
so i am not for sure if were really gonna see sum drifting
hopefully it wont rain, and there will be races

you have a license and insurance right? cops are somewhat tight in here
and we will be running away from cops


damn dude, get your folks to get u some more experience
this well might b a good chance for you to see sum races too
so you know what to expect (running from cops, that is) lol

i jus got back from the races right now
and my friends s15 wasnt a joke
i took,
2 turboed hatch civics
a 300zx
and a 350z
it would have two 350z's but the rain cutted the night short

jus was bad cars4me, you missed it dude
but were planning of going back next week if everything goes fine
and hopefully sum better weather

did you race in your supra or your cadilac?

ha ya i fucked up big time.. i got soo lost. i was on golf road and turned onto 294 but it only went north there so i was going north when i hit a toll booth only to discover that i didnt have a dollar in change. so i blew that then wasted a shit load of gas tryin to figure out where the fuck i was. o well next time ill just take 90 to 294 and it'll all be good. did you say that your supra beat those cars or the s15 did? later man

you know when you got off at irving park from the 294 you were jus literally about a mile away from my house right you were so close

all you had to do was go south of manhiem and you would have been there.

but yeah, i had to ride wit him cuz he wasnt from the area too, he came from woodfield too
but he didnt want to get lost there while the cops were around so i was riding with him
but i took his s15 for a few spins lol
it also took on a turbo mk3 and won
so that car was not a joke
there were a couple of mk3s there last night too
