Light wieght flywheel and an aluminum driveshaft would be good upgrades. Make sure you get a 3 piece wing too

what kind of gains do you get from a flywheel and driveshaft? any ideas? i was thinking of getting just another 7mge for cheap, and swapping.. and doing other things to increase power. not sure yet.

No power gains from a lightwieght flywheel and Driveshaft. Lightens your rotating mass, revs climb faster and you'll increase the hp that actually makes it to the ground but no increase in crank hp.
Do people really buy stuff from Jcwhitney? Buy a used stock wing from another member, doesn't have to be me. Just make sure you get one made by toyota.

^^^ what he said. To gain HP, you need to "unrestrict" the airflow in and out of the engine, cold air intake = denser air, more O2 to help burn the gas. I've heard the stock intake manifold is good for 350-400 hp quoted from toyota engineers so I don't think I need to replace that, port match probably tho. Less restrictive exhaust manifold, pipe and cats will help as well. Then there's the expensive stuff, like the port match of anything the head touches, intake, cylinders, exhaust, and polish, shaving the head, ARP stud kit, MHG, overbore .020 or .040, increase compression to around 10 to 1... run GOOD gas..

yea, i should have said how much more hp would get to the ground. it would just use the power it has more effincently. my friend has an acura integra with a cold air intake, muffler, and a light weight fly wheel.. its pretty quick, not a whole lot slower than my supra. i was thinking of dropping in another 7mge, keep the n/a tranny, get header and full 3" exhaust? get an adapter and run a k&n filter, aluminum drive shaft, light weight flywheel, take off my AC.. it doesnt work anyways. i think it would be fairly quick for an N/A? or is it worth it? i can buy another 7mge for $350 and drop it in, or go spend $2500+ for an engine swap for a 1jz.. its a hard choice.
