Unhappy fuel problems in 86.5

i bought my supra in a non running state. i have rerbuilt the motor and fixed all visible problems but my engine runs super rich. there is no trouble code from the car. ive replaced injectors, tps, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pulsation damper, and coolant temperature sensor. the air flow meter, cold start injector time switch, and the idle speed control valve are all reading normal when i put the ohmmeter to them. its so bad that when i floor it in neutral the fuel cut kicks in at 3000 rpm. if i disconnect the tps it idles at 4000 but then i do have throttle response up to redline without the fuel cutting off. if anyone can point me in another direction it would be great.

Make sure your TPS and CPS are set right. You have to use the ohmmeter to set the tps and you have to get the motor to top dead center for the cps. Is it a turbo? You may also just be leaking air. This happens a lot. Any black smoke? Also make sure your afm bleed screw isnt missing or something. Any kind of air leak after the afm will make it run rich, especially if its a turbo and its under boost. Give it a try!

ithinkright now that the engine itself is fine. i went to check the computer and when i pulled off the glove box i noticed alot of splices in the harness. i have no history of the car from the previos owner but it looks like he ran a bunch of jumper wires rightt off the harness to the fuel injectors. i pulled out the harness sonow i need a new one and probably a computer because he probably shorted it out with all those jumper wires. my car is non turbo so no cam sensor but how do i set the tps?

Look in the tsrm. You hook a volt meter up to the terminals and losen the screws and rotate it till it reads the desried voltage.
