Slow Start
i wake up in the morning CANT WAIT to drive my supra and bam! takes forever to start up i mean im cranking the key for like five seconds. i checked my sparks and wires, and my battery is new so i should have no probs. so whats the problem? and when i DO start it up my car goes very very slow i mean i didnt have to warm up before but now ? i just got up one day and my car started to do this. its a 1989 n/a supra AUTOMATIC i mean i usally just start it up and take off. now i have problems starting up, and my car moves very slow i have my foot on the gas i mean im putting all the force on the gas the car moves so slow, and after a while its normal. it happens if i dont start the car for like 3-5 hours i dont know thats wrong. i tried everything, now im thinking its the transmisson, but i tried gear 2 and L and everything it the same thing as D. i have no clue need some serious help. if it is the transmisson i would just swap to a 5 speed.

From your description at least, I dont think your transmission has anything to do with it. Not starting when cold may be the Cold start injector. Its fairly easy to bench test, and real easy to replace. After its fired up, does it idle low or high? Does it run ok when its fully warmed up?
You may have a fuel pressure problem, which can be the pump, regulator, injectors or the lines anywhere in between.

My 88 turbo has this same exact problem. Its very hard to start when cold, and it runs like balls untill its a little warm and over 1k rpms. I alos have an automatic, but is yours a turbo? I checked my codes and im getting 12 and 14, check yours. Thats something to do with spark and CPS sensor. My headgasket is blown so i havent had time to give it a real diagnosis, But Playing with the cps timing(not sure if i retarted or advanced it) seemed to help it a lot. But i think it just resets its timing after a while because it got just as bad

And weezl, Mine idles up to 1500 rpms at times, but it wont go below 1100. So do you think it could be my fuel? the car runs great when its under boost and just cruising, Its jut when i let it fall below 1k rpms about. And i tested the cold start injector sort of, so i think it works fine, Because when i crank it, I took the 3000 pipe off to see if it worked and it smelled like gas, So im guessing it was squirting gas in.

CSI operation
CSI will only work when the coolant temperature is below 60*, and 56* comes to mind. Also, the "temp / time switch" will heat up and shut off the CSI after a few seconds of cranking to avoid flooding the engine with fuel.
Sounds more like a fuel pressure hold problem. The fuel pump comes on during the starter crank mode, so if the system does not hold residual pressure, it will take a few extra cranking seconds to fully fill the lines and build up enough pressure to give a decent spray pattern. See in the FAQs section...Cold Start System testing.

Well if you already know your HG is blown...its possible your losing compression out 1 or more cylinders and thats will certainly affect your idle. HG replacement is at worst a 2 day job if your going with a Toyota gasket (more than enough with ARP's torqued to 72#) Isp' you need to get that fixed before doing any other diag 'cause it will almost certainly affect your results.
As for the OP, unless your willing to go and buy a fuel pressure gauge, its almost impossible to diag the fuel system. about the only thing you can do is throw parts at it. I wouldnt do that if it was me.
