Default starting problem

I have a 1991 Supra Turbo I recently did some upgrades (hg, turbo, fuel injection, maf, new starter, manual transmission R154, walbro fuel pump) When I went to start it nothing happened so I replaced the starter relay cause I could not hear it click. Tried to start it again after installing ithe new one, again nothing. So I checked all fuses I could find. All looked good. So does anyone have any ideas what I might have missed (in line fusable link maybe another relay that might need to be replace). I also checked the ignition switch. Seems just fine. And I cant find a wire diagram for this car. So Im kind of stuck. Thanks for any help.

Yes I did check the battery it was fully charged. I would be happy if it was that simple. And trust me there are no stupid questions.

first of all..was the battery tested properly? a battery can be fully charged at 12 to 14 volts but with a bad cell, it can only have 75 cold cranking amps.. which is not enough umph to turn the starter and consequently the flywheel.
CCA is what starts your car not volts.

another thing you can do is hook up a test light at the signal wire at the starter (thats the small wire) and have an ASS.........sistant hit the switch. it should light up.

It was tested at the local performance shop. They always test my stuff. They said it was working fine even under load.

well i know the factory alarm causes the car not to turn over at all so i don't know if your alarm went off or like on mine if i kept turning the key to on and then off a few times without starting it then it triggers the alarm without the alarm even going off. but that could just be my car i don't know. also if any of your wires are corroded it will have a hard time starting. hopefully you figure it out good luck.

There is a starter relay behind the passenger kick board. The starter ockout switch might be unplugged if it is a manual. I it used to be an automatic trans then you may need to disable the auto lockout (only starting in park). Get someone to turn the key and check the wire that goes to the starter solenoid then make sure the main power cable does in fact have power to it.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I got it. Some how the wire running to the starter had been grounded some how, so I just ran a new wire, now it starts just fine. Thanks for the help.

Mine has a hard time starting you have like 3 relays under the kick panel over there that other two control fuel and the other one controls a bunch of misc. stuff but dont make the mistake of replacing the fuel one that is like 150 dollars of something.. my car dosent start half the time but when i run into that problem i get up under neith the steering wheel and disconnect it for like a day then reconnect it if the cars starts i would look into replacing the alarm
