I'm looking at getting a 1990 supra, I know about the head gasket problems but is there any thing else I need to know about the 7mge?

The only thing wrong with it is on the driver side by the marker light that little black grill is missing and It has a exhaust leak after the cat

Yah I think I got a great deal!!!! I paid only 3850 for it, with 146K that works out to be only 9100 miles a year. HG was changed at 80K. So I'll watch temp and if temp starts to go up I will put a MHG on it.

Is that what would make the steering pop when making a U turn?
