just got fire
well its 130 in the am here, and i pulled all the wiring in the engine bay that the p.o. had spliced and rigged togther, went through it all, and fixed it up, and reinstalled it. Made a final check on fluids and about five minutes of using some ether to convince it to start, she fired up .It was a good sound......then after the smoke cleared up from the engine compartment and tail pipe, I found a few small lube oil, and coolant leaks that needed some attn. It did get hot real quick though which worries me, but im going to replace the cap, and thermo. tommorrow, and that should be it. small tapping noise is annoying so it looks like im gonna be setting valves, and checking lifters also later today. Hopefully the coolant issue is solved by just that, the old oil was good texture and density. When I split the old filter assy it didnt have anything out of the norm for an old filter. Thanx 2 all
