Question Y intake

What is the difference in the 7mge with the y intake and the 7mge with the striaght intake? which one is better?

1985 celica supra upgrading to street/drag well mainly drag. Have complete HKS T4 turbo kit, electronics and all, Getting head port and polish with HKS 264 cams, and port and polished intake with 6 extra injector bungs. Eagle or crower rods? I just bought a 1990 MA70 n/a .

'Y' is better. Better air flow = More HPs. I believe the Cressida came with less HPs (190) and the 'straight' intake.

What is the HP on the 7m with the Y intake?

i think its 200hp with 185 lb/in torque

yah when I test drove the car I thought it had som get up and go for a non turbo car. This is my first 7m, the 5m I thought had some power, but it does not compare!!!

Yep the N/A is 200hp, the Turbo, depending on year ranges from 220-232ish on stock boost.

i thought it was 225 hps with 200 lb/in on the stock 7mgte

Depends on the year, every year or two they upped the HP around 2-3 HP. Ending at 232 in 1992 I believe.

And in japan if you're lucky you could have gotten a toyota supra turbo A which only 500 were made and came in black and had different internals in the ct26 and had 267hp.

MY 90 supra is a non turbo
