ok ive got a 1987 toyota supra turbo and when i start it it idle's fine but when i go drive it and it warms up the check engine light comes on (its a maf sensor code)and it will rev up and down to 2000 rpm with the gas peddle to the floor . As soon as it hits 2000 rpm in any gear it will do this. ive changed the maf sensor ,wiring harness, ecu ,tps sensor with ones from my other supra, im thinking it may be the egr valve or iac.
PS: it has a greddy blow off valve thats been rerouted to the intake pipe, hardpipe kit, full exhaust, and there is no leaks in the hardpipe kit PLEASE HELP IM CONFUSED!!!!!! |

Check your resistance on your MAF. But I dont know if that will help. It has to be something bad in there, because when it starts to open it reads incorrectly causing your MAF code. Try yet another one, And make sure your connections are all hooked up well.

how long ago did you do the diag check?
can you run one now and see what codes you get? is there any smoke out the exhaust when it's doing this? did you verify the other afm was good? maybe try another one check your grounds also as the afm is grounded through the engine in a roundabout kinda way

a) brand new doesn't matter, you may have put a clamp on crooked
but since this is only when it's hot (by which i assume you mean up to temperature not overheating) check the tsrm with a voltmeter and go thru the checks for your air flow meter it is more than likely a worn/broken/shorting wire in your engine harness not in the afm itself if it does it with a good afm also
