Newbie lookin for some info
I've got a 280zx turbo and I'm looking at getting an 88 supra turbo. my only problem with the 280 is that the computer wouldn't allow me to boost any extra, because it was only programmed to accuratly give fuel up to the stock 4-7ish psi. I ended up going all out and doing a megasquirt n spark extra install in it, so now that's no longer a problem. I'm wondering if I get this supra, is there a problem with just turning up the boost, ie will the ecu crap out and start going lean if i turn the boost up?

Yes, It will you will need bigger injectors and a fuel cut off controller.

Is there a way to tell the cpu there're bigger injectors in the vehicle? I upgraded the injectors on my 280 and then realized that it would dump 30% more fuel in no matter what; there was no way to tell it to compensate for the bigger injectors.

lexus 1uz afm and 550cc injectors
go hard for 15 psi i would imagine, good for 350hp @ the wheels there is a thing called fuel cut that impliments at about 1400 or 1500hz in our afms but the lexus will take care of that do ya exhaust, intake, intercooler piping and intercooler first tho eh
