Engine Swap

I have a 88 non-turbo Supra and i was wondering if i could put an 84 non-turbo supra engine in it?

im sure it possible but i dont understand why you would want to. most people ask if its possible to put a 2jz in a 88

I have an 84 with a stock 5mge and i was wondering if it would be easier and more cost effective to rebuild my 2.8 and beef it up a little or swap for a 7mgte?http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...2238162_12.jpg

easier to rebuild and add a little power to orginal engine. you will not be able to match the 7mgte.
