please help me if u can
ok well i already have a post of my head gasket being gone... now... i was woundering if anyone knows a way i could drive it without it over heating every 30 seconds i know im indangering my tranny but im replacing it anyways ... i tried the good old lease rad cap loose but all that does it cause skinky smoke ... any advice would be AMAZING thats alot.

over heating can do more damage than just to your tranny so you might wanna stop driving it
|
^^^ yeah id fox wit that
|
if you keep driving with hgb it cost you more bucks to repair so i would agree wth the two

figured out the reason for my overheating wasnt my head gasket atall but was a decayed rad hose behind the engine it was spraying all my fluids out like a sprinkler at high speeds, i cut off the decade spot and got the hose to reach byut just bairly and replaced the clamps with wider and thicker clamps that can hold alot more presure also .... filled my rad back up and it took about 5L!, of antifreeze.... if anyone can tell me the best way to detemine a exhaust leak that would be cool... also a boost leak although i just got a boost gage tonight and havent put it in yet... if anyone is selling a boost controler contact me on this post manual is in mind but a digital is acceptable.

WOW, replace that hose with a new one! If you just stretched out the old one it will soon be leaking again! In fact replace them all along with the clamps.
Have someone put a rag over the exhaust exit and with the car up on jack stands, listen for any leaks. Place your hands close to the gasket joints in the exhaust system to feel for any air leaks, but don't touch it, unless you just started it up cold. If you block off the exhaust and it dies pretty quick then it is a relatively good sealed system. Russ |

You should also se some black carbon build up around the area of the exhaust leak.
