one after another
well i just fixed code 11 and know im looking to find out how to fix code 52. i know its the knock sensor control. my question is were is it located and how to fix it. "pic would be nice"
88 turbo. thanks for all your help hopefully this could be the last thing that i need to take the check engine light off and i can get it registered and get this car on the road. |

there are two knock sensors on your block
they are located on the intake side one is between about #2 & #3 cylinder, if you stick your arm under there (when it's cold) you'll be able to feel it the other one is about #5 & #6 right before the starter motor more than likely you have a broken wire and you just need to repair it

well i fixed the nock sensor and im still getting the same code what else could i be missing???????

did you replace both knock sensors?
if not ,replace the other one. also make sure the wiring is not broken and that they have good contact. |

yes both knock sensors need to have wires coming out of them... if they don't then they won't work

i don't know of a pic offhand
but try looking under your intake manifold where your plugs go to your starter, transmission/manual wires and you should see another wire thats sorta seethrough, that should be connected to your knock sensor, more than likely it's broken off at the rubber bung there is a tech tip on the sogi website for repairing knock sensors maybe someone knows the link offhand
