Does anyone know of any places that do motor builds for relatively cheap. I've found some places online who say they will take your core 7M-GTE and build it to about 450 hp for around $3800. Is that cheap, assuming I do not have the time, tools, or skills to build it up myself? Thanks.

That is a serious hp gain for only $3,800.00! I would go for it if they are indeed truthful about the gains and price. Find out all the mods they plan to do and let us know here what they are to see if it is realistic or not. I know the turbo MK111 will put out that kind of hp with a new, bigger turbo but with a better exhuast system, injectors, fuel pump, head gasket, afm and probably much more. All that really adds up as far as price goes.
Let us know. Russ |

Here's the page. I'm not sure on the validity of the page, and its not as great a deal as i thought.
