uhhthe turbo's ijectors are the same size as the N/A. Secondly they will be old, so thats not good. No you will not have to mess with the ECU but you will have to increase the airflow. You can do this by doing the following:
1. Get a High-Flow Air Intake. I suggest the Spectre Airflow, or the K&N made for our cars. Both can ge gotten at your local Auto Store.
2. You must adjust your AFM. This is a really weird procedure. If you do it incorrectly you will have problems. You willhave to lean out the mixture. Go to http://www.well.com/user/mosk/AFM1.htm.
And follow its directions. Read EVERYTHING before you do it.

My suggestion is shell out the money for bigger injectors.

i thought the 86.5 had 300cc and turbo had 440cc sry but thanks for the answer i will get bigger ones but can you recamind what size to get

Depends on how much power you want. What modification are you trying to support by using bigger injectors?

burton51m 10-14-2006 03:10 PM

the injector size of an N/A is 380cc, and turbo 440cc.

you are correct i looked it up after i got off last night my question is will the 44occ work on my car reason is i have 2 full sets i got from my shop and if they will work i will put them in dont cost as much that way and i get more power?
i have a bad injector right now trying to fix with the others

Bigger injectors won't make you any faster, It will probably end up running really rich and you will lose power.

That's why I asked what mod he is trying to support.

Won't the different ohm resistance of the injectors of the turbo vs the N/A cause problems?

carfanatic89 01-17-2008 11:57 PM

Yeah the ohm rating on the new injectors need to be the same and I was told the stock injectors on a NA is 318 CC
