no spark
i recently had psted a thread about how i had no spark alot of guys had told me that it could be my igniter so i went on ebay i bought a new igniter and i still dont have any spark. i have checked everything possiable for the power there is power everywhere but still no spark i would like to know if anyone has ever had this problem before and if so what was the problem i am really frustrated with it so any help would be appreciated thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

Have you checked your coil packs and wires to see if they are ok? Do your diagnostis with the resistances and see if they are in spec with what the repair manual says. One of those couid be a possibility. Also, are you getting any fuel?(at the rail, and in teh cylinder while you are trying to start it). I recently had a problem where i was getting no spark. Assumed it was my igniter, but the diagnostics for it were in spec. I then checked for fuel, and nothing there. Turned out that i had some oil in the CPS and it was giving the ECU a bad reading, or no reading at all, and in turn, would not start. Hope this helps. goodluck!
