which wheels will fit
i have an N/A 1989 mk3, how do i tell which wheels and tires will fit on my car? what are the specifications? do you guys have any suggestions for good ones? the only experience i have with wheels is changing flats :\

Any lexus or toyota rwd 5 lug wheels should fit. If no luck, the wheels are a 5x114.3mm bolt pattern. A standard upgrade would be mk4 wheels, or is300 wheels. and people fit 245/45/17 front and 275/40/17 tires rear with lowering springs with not many problems.

I think the stock wheels are +35 offset too, just as an FYI.

Keep it as close as you can to the +35 offset. Anything less than +35 will stick out and anything over with sink in. This car pictured has -12 offset in the front and a -25 offset in the back. Pic from Drerok on SM.

on my 87 supra i put on 17x8 with a +40mm offset in the front and 17x9 with a +40mm offset in the rear and I have no issues.

lol, that car looks retarted. the front isnt that bad but that rear wheel is ridiculous.

I'm just glad they weren't 13" wheels! :rolleyes2
Every time I see a car with little 13" wheels sticking 6-8 inches out and bouncing up and down like it's got tigger tail for springs it makes me laugh... and not a good laugh... A how could someone ruin a car like that laugh. |

He also needs wider rear tires...There about to rip off. I hate cars with "widebody" kits thou, Just my opinion. Especially those ones that people try to make look like ferraris. haha.
