7mge to 7mgte
Hi, im a newb with supras cuz i mostly worked with honda motors. My 7mgte motor has engine knock and i was planning to swap the engine but i dont wanna downgrade the hp. I was wondering if i purchased a 7mge engine, is it possible to make it into the 7mgte? If so, what parts would i need to get and is it okay to re-use some parts from my 7mgte and just stick 'em on the 7mge? If this makes anysense please respond to this. Sorry if its already in the forum. Just thought this would be quicker.

cams, pistons, piston oil squirters, oil pump, many other parts. In a word, you'd be better buying 7MGTE to replace your current one with.

just get a jdm 7m-gte or rebuild your 7m-gte. its not really a great idea to convert a 7m-ge to a 7m-gte.
