any difference between a turbo an na Supra rear differential ? mine went out and need a new one plan on doing a turbo swap in winter also do they have a posi rear end

yea their is a difference, turbo rear is LSD(limited slip diff) spins at same time, none turbo is not the same

toyota was extremely varied in their placing of diffs
some turbos have open diffs, some have lsd not necessarily specific to engine type generally you will find that auto trans models have a higher diff ratio then manual

i was also wondering if i could put a turbo rear diff on a non turbo engine without putting in a new 5 speed turbo tranny or drive shaft u joints etc. Ne1 out there know? plan on doing swap this winter
