Default Found a supra

I found an '89 White, targa, blue leather. Fully loaded, turbo. 78k miles. Think i should do it? My truck has 84k miles, and won't stop nickel and diming me. Is the surpa gonna give me problems?

Reall all depends on the price. But I know I am absolutl in love with the 1990 targa Top Supra Turbo I just bought. But like Tone said. Take care of it and it will treat you quite well. Not gunna lie it'll take maintenance at first, but you won't find a better car in my opinion, specially for the money. Also take it to a mechanic FIRST before buying it, if the guy won't let you, then there is probably something really wrong with it and not worth your time.

Any car this old has the potential to nickel and dime you. Just depends on if you think the car is worth all those nickels and dimes!

Read all of this, and look at #2.

Agreed, if the head gasket is in good shape Toyotas do not break down often. Also watch out for crank bearing noise, if it is not bad yet there will be a light ticking noise at a constant throttle.
