I'M AN IDIOT! Help... (1988 7mGTE).

I installed a rebuilt head WITHOUT the blocker plate installed on the back of the head (the one with 8 bolts, I'd guess an oil passage system from cam-to-cam). Almost everything was back in– is there a clever way of getting it back on without backing up completely and pulling the head off the block? I'd guess the guys helping me get this car back on the road are having a good laugh right now. Thanks in advance. Rick

Its the Egr cooler. You can put it on without pulling the engine but it won't be fun. Don't forget the gasket.

thats true.. if the egr valv. cooler.. you dont have to pull out the motor... you can work in a way to get it on or off...

It's on. The neighborhood supra experts got it on while I was working. Owning a Supra is like joining a big happy family.
