Issues After Changing Spark Plugs
Aight as title sais i changed the spark plugs in my 1991 turbo supra. Also cleaned the k&n air filter. Now the car after a little bit of running the idle just hits 500 and drops and goes back up then eventually the car dies. Can restart it with no issues at all. Im not sure if something happend while i was changing the spark plugs but it didnt start till after i did this. The engine i know has more problems there was poil on the plugs litle on some and alot on 2. Im goin to check alot of things on it today make sure there arent any disconnected hoses, reset the computer, check to see if my intake filter is mesed up, make sure i didnt mess up the throttle cables or anything. Also i notice a vaccume sound when the car is running and when i shut it off there is like a vaccume sound and then a kinda hiss sound. Not sure if any of this helps but if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

O another question, on my 7mgte i noticed something strange, when i was changing my plugs on the top of th engine there was a bolt sticking out of it nothing more then just a bolt screwed in to the top but sticks out about 1+ inches. It is when looking at the engine from the front of the car after spark plug 6. I couldnt find any pictures or anything to see if there is supposed to be something there or wtf the bolt is for. So if anyone has any insight to this it would be nice to know.

Post a pic of the bolt sticking out, then we'd be able to answer your question better. It might be a bracket mount, but can't really answer till I see it.
As for your main problem, replace all you vacuum lines or at the very least, check them all for cracks. You might have one clogged on the inside though so changing them out is your best bet.

You mean like this?
http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...tion=EC&Page=4 Check the TSRM for areas you hear leaking at.

I think that one bolt or stud at the end of the engine(near no 6 spark plug) is where the heater hose braket bolts down to.. its the coolant hose that comes from the back of the head and into the firewall...there should be a braket there.

I believe it is the intake manifold im refering to where the leak is. The large, flat silver part on the right side of the engine. The piece that is messed up is bolted on the back end of it towards the bottom, its metal with a metal hose coming off of it.

thats a water outlet...it has a hose that goes to the heater core valve. the bolt is just a banjo bolt, that holds it down, is it leaking?

I dont know if thats what it is, it is a piece shaped like <> but rounded with a hose coming off, it was shooting out air like crazy, some how i have no idea how but one bolt was mising and the other was barely on, ive never messed with it nor has anone else that im aware of so i dont know how it happend. But the gasket is shot so i need to make a new one and get another bolt for it. Once i tightend it down the car started to perform better. So i think if i fix that issue then all will be good for now. Need to replace the exaust gasket to though.
