Ok, I am new, and i just bought an 87 supra turbo, 2 weeks ago. I have searched on this forum, for help with my problem, but cant find anything that quite fits me. Anyway everytime i start the car, when the engine is cold or warm(when the car is already hot, no problem). It takes awhile to start, sometimes up to 5 mins. Because when it does catch, it might stall out. Then when the engine wants to keep running, it runs kind of rough, like it is about to stall. So once I have let is warm up some. I try to put it in drive or reverse, sometimes the engine will run for about 2 seconds then stall. Once the car is in motion, and is hot(not overheating hot) , the car runs great. The guy i bought is from said the timing needed to be ajusted, but i dont know. This seems really weird to me, this is my first foreign car. I am used to chevys and fords. Can someone please help me. This is so annoying and embarrassing.
